Mobile handset manufacturers insert spyware

Huawei, Xiaomi and OnePlus cellphones are sending extremely detailed personal information, app usage, system info back to their servers.

Xiaomi even has a censorship feature with a block list which is remotely activated/loaded that can block content with keywords like "Democratic Movement". Multimedia content can also be blocked.

Even the app stores they point to contain malware.
